Somewhat lost in the aftermath and digging out from Snowzilla this week was the passing of Concepcion Picciotto, who had held her peace vigil in front of the White House since 1981. If you’ve photographed the front of the White House, then you’ve seen her ramshackle tent and protest signs calling for world peace and nuclear disarmament. Ms. Picciotto died Jan. 25 at a facility run by N Street Village. We’re not likely to see someone with her perseverance pass our way again. RIP Concepion Picciotto.
