The Renwick reopens!
After a two-year restoration, the Renwick is reopening with a major show of nine site-specific installations, with each installation filling an entire room. Here is a preview of some of them:
These photos were taken at last night’s opening party. There is another opening party tonight – tickets are $75. While expensive, I think it was worth it to see the incredible art installations, plus great food and drink and special entertainment.
The museum opens on Friday, with a festival on Saturday. It is part of the Smithsonian complex, so visiting it is free.
