Save the Smithsonian Folklife Festival

If you’ve ever gone to the National Mall during the Fourth of July weekend, you’ve probably wandered through the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, which each year focuses on different cultures and regions of the World. This year, the festival, which wrapped up on Sunday, featured China and Kenya. Now, apparently there’s a possibility the festival may end because of new regulations by the National Park Service. You can click here to learn about an effort to save the festival.

Meanwhile here are some photos from this year’s festival.
