Lots of shiny new cars, not a lot of people at Washington Auto Show
January 29, 2016/
The first thing that struck us when we dropped in Thursday on the Washington Auto Show was the lack of crowds. The annual show is heading into its final weekend and it was dead. There were people milling about, checking out the shiny new cars but nothing close to the crowds you might expect. Snowzilla ruined the opening weekend and probably contributed to the sluggish week, overall. Some floor workers we talked to said it was even worse the day before.
Of course, the silver lining is that if you like photographing cars without a lot of people hanging around in your frame, you might be in luck.
