‘Freedom Horns’ by Marine Cpl. Dan Hosack
On Friday nights during the late spring and summer, head down to the U.S. Marine Barracks on 8th and I streets SE for the Marines’ evening parade. The hour and fifteen minutes of music and precision marching starts at 8:45 p.m. sharp and features marine bands, a drum and bugle corps, and color guard.
The event is free but it’s best to reserve a seat online. Otherwise, a limited number of people queued up in the general admission line are allowed in.
